What is ADHD?
ADHD is one of the most common neurodevelopmental conditions. It typically begins in childhood, but many people are not diagnosed until adulthood, often after years of developing workarounds for difficulties with focus, follow-through, or organization.
ADHD is not a lack of intelligence or effort. It is a difference in how the brain regulates attention, planning, and impulse control, and it often shows up differently in adults than in children.
